AFRIDAC has worked towards empowering the African and Afro-Caribbean community in the UK and advocating on issues that disproportionately affects the community. We have a track record of working with African communities to deliver advocacy messages and help effect social change. An aspect of our advocacy work relates to analysis of migration, immigration and housing policies that affects documented and undocumented African and Afro-Caribbean migrants. We are a member of the UK Race and Europe Network (UKREN) – https://www.ukren.org/uploads/UKREN%20Members%20list%20updated%2028.05.15.pdf, Migration Rights Network (MRN) – https://migrantsrights.org.uk/ and other networks.
