AFRIDAC Advocacy and Appreciative Leadership Series

This is part of the AFRIDAC Advocacy and Appreciative Leadership series. The 5-day intensive advocacy and appreciative leadership course will support African and Caribbean heritage participants in identifying issues within our community and develop strategies to influence social change.

Learning will explore our advocacy history as Black people, highlighting major milestones and developing a roadmap for the journey ahead. The interactive sessions will reinforce our Appreciative Leadership skills and provide tools on how we can better work together by combining our strengths as a community rather than working in silos.

After the course, participants will emerge as a leader of thought with the skills to advocate and amplify the voice(s) of your community.

Our program takes place in the Island of Crete, one of the most exotic destinations of the Aegean Sea in Greece.

The workshop and the accommodation is at the unique 4-star village resort of Porto Platanias in Chania that provides you with safe and luxurious accommodations. It is the perfect place to combine personal growth with holidays.
